The best corporate professionals find possibilities in setbacks.

The average see risks and obstacles where there could be growth.

There is truth to both. But only one gets promoted, recognized, and levels up.

Your mindset is what separates the extraordinary from the rest. Accelerating your career requires that you reframe failures as lessons (you learn and derive insights from) and make bold moves (for example, having meaningful but hard conversations). The best lean into discomfort, knowing that growth doesn’t come from standing still.

The average corporate professional plays it safe. They hesitate, overthink, avoid speaking up and sidestep opportunities that carry even the slightest risk of failure. It’s comfortable, sure. But it’s also why their careers stagnate.

So here are some truths to reflect on:

The Context: Our ​Career Success Fast Track™​ client initially struggled to get the recognition for her work and was feeling stuck in her organization. She felt ready for her Director promotion but lacked the buy-in from her internal network to make it happen. She didn't know what to do differently to improve her situation, leaving her frustrated and disappointed.

​The Success: Within 3 short months of working together, she just secured her Director promotion!

​The Strategy: We identified that she needed further advocacy from a department leader who had been blocking the move prior.
