Nobody feels great when they know they’re not giving it their all.

Think about it: when was the last time you felt completely energized, proud, and confident in your work? If it’s been a while, here’s the tough reality: deep down, you already know why. You’re not putting in your best effort.

A recent client came to me feeling stuck. His performance had dipped, his confidence was shot, and worst of all, he felt like an imposter in his own career. He admitted something that struck a chord: “I’m not working as hard as I know I can, and it’s catching up to me.”

That moment of honesty was a turning point.

We rebuilt his focus, stripped away the distractions, and dialed-in on the habits that create momentum. The transformation was undeniable: his energy returned, his results improved, and so did his confidence all in a few short weeks.

Here’s the reality:

→ You can’t feel great about yourself when you know you’re holding back.
→ Confidence grows when effort matches potential.
→ Criticizing others won’t move you forward. Learning from them will.

So, ask yourself: Are you truly giving it your all? Not in a perfectionist way, but in a way that makes you proud of how you’re showing up.

The difference between stuck and thriving often comes down to one simple decision: to show up fully or not at all.

🎉 Client case study of the week

The Context: Our ​Career Success Fast Track™​ client had initially struggled with securing interviews having over-relied on online applications to make his next move. These were getting him nowhere.
​
​The Success: This week, he's interviewed for one of his target roles at Tiktok, and secured two interviews with Deloitte and BNY through proactive, intentional networking efforts. The best part is that he's positioned himself to have options instead of chasing after opportunities. This all comes at an important personal milestone moment for him with his first newborn at home.
​
​The Strategy: We worked together on identifying both existing and new connections he should get in touch with tied to his target companies and role. From here, we developed his specific LinkedIn networking outreach scripts with Jordan, our recruitment and heading hunting expert. We ensured he had the right messaging and follow-up templates to either lead to an immediate interview or be kept top of mind for future opportunities (what happened with Deloitte). We then optimized his resume with Amanda, our resume and interview expert, so that he could submit it directly to these contacts and get around the online application process. He then prepped for his Tiktok interview with our team to nail down his key messages, examples and storytelling delivery. This also included practice on asking about any concerns they have about his candidacy so he could address it directly in the interview and control the narrative.
