Your growth and potential isn’t just about talent. ​

It’s about tolerance...for discomfort.
​
Think back to the last time you struggled with something new. Maybe it was speaking up in a high-stakes meeting, leading a project outside your comfort zone, or negotiating for something you truly deserved.

In those moments, you likely experienced some form of doubt:
​
→ “Maybe I’m just not good at this.”
→ “What if I fail and prove I’m not ready?”
→ “Others make this look so easy."
→ “I'm going to embarrass myself in front of this client/leader/colleague."

But here’s what’s actually happening: you’re not incapable. You’re just doing something unfamiliar.

Your brain craves certainty. It wants to stay where it’s comfortable because it views uncertainty as risk. But the fastest way to growth is through discomfort, not around it.

Instead, make these mindset shifts:

→ If something feels hard... good. It means you’re growing.
→ Struggle isn’t a red flag, it’s part of the process.
→ What’s unfamiliar today will become second nature tomorrow.

Everything you’re great at now was once new.

The only way forward (and up)? Keep going.
