Welcome to my Friday issue of Peak Performers, sharing my latest podcast episode and practical insights to help you stand out, lead with confidence, and land better opportunities.

As always, a big thank you for all of your support 🙌

If your career feels ‘fine’, that might be the problem.

Sometimes it whispers:

→ Your growth has stalled.
→ You’ve outpaced your boss.
→ You’re doing work that no longer excites you.

Here's the thing. Most pivots aren’t sparked by impulse. They’re sparked by pain, the kind that builds when you know you’re meant for more.

And if you’re in the thick of it, here are 3 quick ways to find your footing:

💡 Pro tip #1: Stop searching for the perfect next role. They’re about alignment with your strengths and values, and the problems you're excited to solve.

💡 Pro tip #2: Use “curiosity conversations”. Reach out to people already in the roles or industries you’re eyeing. Ask them what’s hard, what’s changing, and what they wish they’d known? You’ll gain clarity and build connections that matter.

💡 Pro tip #3: Update your internal story before your LinkedIn headline.
If you can’t clearly explain why you’re pivoting and what you bring to the table in a sentence or two, others won’t be able to either.

You’ve got this!

EP 12. How to tell your career story so it actually gets you hired | Allison Stransky (CMO Samsung)

Your career story can get you hired…or get you ghosted.

In this week’s podcast, I sit down with Allison Stransky, Chief Marketing Officer and VP at Samsung Electronics America, to explore how to break out of boxes, pivot with purpose, and build a career that’s truly your own.

From her early days at Unilever and L’Oréal to bold moves into Google and now Samsung, Allison shares the choices, mindset shifts, and gut checks that helped her grow through discomfort and lead with impact, and how you can too!

We cover everything from quieting imposter thoughts in executive roles, to reigniting passion mid-career, to the key questions she asks when facing big decisions.

If you’re feeling stuck or unsure of your next step, this episode will give you the clarity to move forward with confidence.

Watch now on YouTube.

What you’ll takeaway from my
episode with Allison Stransky:

  1. Why your career path doesn’t have to be a straight line.
  2. How feeling stuck can help you grow and move forward.
  3. Why the hardest moments often lead to the most growth.
  4. How to find your edge by seeing what comes easy to you.
  5. Why passion can grow over time, it doesn’t have to be big at the start.
  6. How to stop shrinking and start owning what makes you valuable.
  7. A smart gut-check to try: “Does this scare me for the right reasons?”
  8. Why talking to people in your dream job (or who left it) can help you.

And so much more!
